Instead of dealing with the risks and inconvenience of online marketplaces, we give you a simple and trusted option to trade in your tech for cash. From Apple laptops and desktops to gaming consoles, cameras, drones, and more—we make selling your devices easy.
What do you do with the devices you receive?
Every device we buy goes through a professional inspection and grading process. Depending on its condition, devices are:
– Resold as-is
– Professionally refurbished and resold
– Harvested for parts or responsibly recycled

Do you buy locked or managed devices?
No. We do not purchase devices that are iCloud locked, FRP/Google locked, managed by MDM software, part of Apple’s DEP program, or reported lost/stolen. If a device is sent in under these conditions, it will be returned at the seller’s expense.

If your device is on our site, you can trade it in for cash. For bulk trade-ins (10+ devices), please fill out our bulk buyback form.
How does the selling process work?
a. Get a Quote – Use our instant online calculator to find your device and get a cash offer.
b. Ship It Free – We’ll email you a prepaid shipping label. Pack your device securely and drop it off at the carrier location.
c. Inspection – Our team verifies the model, condition, and details of your device.
d. Get Paid Fast – If everything matches, we process your payment within 1–2 business days through your preferred method.
What if my device doesn’t match my original description?
If our inspection finds differences, we’ll send you an updated offer. You can either accept it or have your device returned for free (unless it’s locked/blacklisted/financed, in which case return shipping is your responsibility).
Quotes & Offers
How can I tell if my iPhone is unlocked?
The easiest way is to call your carrier and confirm. You can also test with another SIM card. Unlocked devices typically receive higher payouts.
How do I grade the condition of my device?
We provide clear grading guidelines during the quote process. If unsure, pick the condition that best fits. If adjustments are needed, we’ll notify you after inspection.
Does my quote expire?
Yes. You’ll need to ship your device within 30 days of receiving your quote to lock in the offer.
Why would an offer change?
Quotes may be adjusted if:
– The device has more wear than described
– The battery or hardware isn’t functioning properly
– The device has hidden issues not listed at the time of quote
What if I don’t agree with the amended offer?
You can decline and have your device returned, or request a re-inspection.
Do you accept international trade-ins?
Currently, EasyTradeTech only serves customers within the United States.
Will you buy broken devices?
Yes! We purchase devices that don’t power on, have cracked screens, water damage, or other issues. These devices may be repurposed for parts or repairs.
Is there a limit to how many items I can sell?
No limit. Sell one device or an entire collection. For bulk trade-ins (10+ items), please contact us first.
Shipping & Packing My Order
Is shipping free and insured?
Yes. Every device ships free with our prepaid label. Shipments are insured by the carrier up to $50. You may purchase extra coverage during checkout for high-value items.
Do I send SIM cards, boxes, or accessories?
No SIM cards are needed. Only include accessories if they are part of your quoted trade-in. Extra items cannot be returned.
Can I use my own packaging?
Yes, but follow our packaging guidelines to prevent damage.
Can I track my shipment?
Yes. You’ll receive tracking information when your label is generated, and we’ll notify you once your device arrives at our facility.
Evaluation, Inspection & Data Security
How are devices inspected?
Our technicians verify model, specs, cosmetic condition, and functionality. If everything matches your quote, payment is released quickly.
Do you repair devices?
We do not perform repairs on customer-owned devices during inspection.
What about my data?
Every device is securely wiped using industry-leading tools (including Blackbelt Defence certified erasure for applicable devices). We also restore devices to factory settings to protect your privacy. Even if you’ve already reset it, we wipe it again for your peace of mind.
Device Returns
What if I reject the updated offer?
Your device will be returned to you at no cost (except in cases of misrepresentation, locks, or blacklisting).
How quickly are returns processed?
Returns are shipped out the next business day with USPS Priority and usually arrive within 2–5 business days.

Can I change my payment details after submitting?
Yes. Contact support@EasyTradeTech.com from the same email you used to submit your trade-in.
